What is Spotter?
A photo game for small groups. Pick a target. Spot it together.
Do I need an account?
No. Create a game or join with a code. Your browser remembers games on that device.
How do people join?
Share the link, code, or QR. Players choose a name and avatar color.
What should we look for?
Choose one clear target: yellow cars, round windows, red flowers, funny signs.
Is it only about winning?
No. Relaxed play is the default. Turn on scoring only when your group wants a winner.
Can a game have a timer?
Yes. Keep it open-ended or choose a short round.
Who can see sightings?
People with game access. There is no public feed.
Can I delete a mistaken sighting?
Yes. Delete your own. Hosts can remove obvious mistakes.
Does location prove a sighting?
No. Location is optional context. It does not decide scoring.
How long are games kept?
Completed games have a short recap window, currently seven days.
